KARLA

KARLA is made up of two women. Their names are Megan
& Marion. For many years, they were part of a brilliant
troupe from Chicago called "Brick." Then, one of them moved
to Los Angeles (It doesn't matter which one), and told the
other that she too should come there. She did. Then they
asked Kevin Chesley from the brilliant sketch comedy
troupe, "Troop!" to direct them. He did. Over the past few
years, KARLA has become a staple on the Sketch Fest
Circuit. Yet, somehow, we always missed seeing them (they
were on at the same time as us, or on a different weekend,
or right before our performance, whatever...point being, we
didn't see them), until a month ago in New York where their
performance was the talk of the whole Sketchfest:NYC.
They're charming. They're weird. They're wicked smart. And
they're hysterically funny. You've not seen anything like
KARLA...unless you live in LA or one of the other Sketch
Fest cities. Then you might have.
