MEAT
From
New York City - Performing Saturday @ 10:00PM

MEAT is thrilled to return to
the Best of the Best Sketchfest for the 5th time. We love
you, Portland!
Last year, MEAT, proudly performed at Best Of The Best and
had so much fun that they quit performing together forever.
That’s not a joke.
A very long year has gone by. One of them moved across the
country. Two of them started another sketch venture. And
now they’ve decided to reunite for Portland, their
very favorite audience. So look out, PDX, here they come
again with a “Greatest Hits” show, specifically
designed for Stumptown. That’s right. These days MEAT
only performs for Portland and that makes them more rare
then ever.
Known for smart, dangerous, inventive writing and
fearlessly committed performances, MEAT is one of the
country's most critically acclaimed and respected sketch
groups, performing for sold out audiences across the U.S.
and Canada on the sketch festival circuit. They were
nominated by the Emerging Comics of New York Awards for
Best Sketch Group and named by the Chicago Tribune at the
"Best Performers" of the 2006 Chicago Sketch Festival.
MEAT is also proud to have shared the stage with Lewis
Black, Mitch Fatel, Jim Gaffigan, Judy Gold, Demitri Martin
and Gloria Steinam when they were sponsored by Planned
Parenthood to perform as part of the March for Women's
Lives in Washington, D.C.
